You can get a very small tuner from Planet Waves, hardly visible from the
front of the guitar. why take it off, its useful

True flamencos take classes at home with their father.

I took professional (flamenco) lessons from my father for years but always outdoors (interrupting, commenting and correcting my mistakes and bad habits at home would be a 24/7 job at the time on top of being very very de-motivational ;-)

I bought myself a tuner like this 2 years ago but never used it until now. I recently saw someone with a very nice and esthetic alternative stick on tuner placed near the heel and hardly visible from the front.

I love this one. I first heard about it in here.

Clips easily on the headstock. Unobtrusive. Easy to read, sensitive, accurate, very tiny, and relatively inexpensive. A lot more convenient than some of the fancier hand-held ones I have.

I put one on several of my guitars and just leave them there. I find my tuning has improved a lot since starting to use them.

Anybody had any problems with them?

Are you referring to the PW-CT-12 NS Mini Headstock Tuner?

Affirmative!

That's the one I have (three of 'em).

Planet Waves Mini Headstock tuner. Less than twenty bucks here.

Mine just clips to the top of the headstock, where I can see it easily.

Ok question:

With this machine, can I tune i e the 6th string to D and the second one 3 half tones down? I can do that with my korg becasue I have a "flat" option. Possible? I need that option pretty often..

That is what all chromatic tuners do. You play whatever note you want and it will tell you if it is in tune or not. No need to use a "flat" option or anything...

Sure!

It just tells you it's "D", when the single bars are alingned on both sides of the D ( as in my photo).

Not too sure about the " 3 half tones" etc. Better ask somebody more 'techie' than me. . .
