So i guess this is pretty straight forward question and maybe not..[:D] I have been around on this forum for a while and what i have been reading the most is probably the luthier section. So ive become sort of inspired and want to try to build a guitar myself[8D] So i wanted to know the really essencial tools and stuff i would need. Im guessing its a whole lot! I guess i also need some plans and all that so where do i buy those? Does it help that i have built some furniture, decorative stuff, general woodworking? well i hope i get some nice answers. Thanks in advance [;)]

Search for make guitar tools or variations of tools luthier etc. It's been discussed many time.

Also the strings weren't "normal", but.. like...had 2 wound E strings and the rest just plain B strings..wtf?? I didn't know what to say.... Then the front door opened and her current (big) boyfriend came in [:@] He glowered at me suspiciously and she explained that it was OK.. I had just come to help tune the guitar.... I can't remember exactly how it finished...but I kinda mumbled something about it needing a set of proper strings and left F...ing pronto... Happy days! [:D][:D] cheers, Ron
