Anyone know what's going on with this album? I think Moraíto said in Sanlúcar they were aiming for September or so.

Pimientito -> RE: Diego del Morao's album approaches!!! (Oct. 22 2010 8:42:55)

Max (Bursche) and I did Diegos 2 day course in Granada earlier this august. Diego played some of the new material. He said that it was still being mixed?? and should be out later this year. Saying that you guys are in for a treat when it comes out....hes really playing great right now[:D][:D]

ashod -> RE: Diego del Morao's album approaches!!! (Nov. 1 2010 7:08:31)

Any news on his album?

I browsed a bit this morning to see if there were any new material, but didn't find anything.

Sounds incredible.. best guitar album in years IMO. Plenty of cante, no fluff. Pure awesome. I hope people buy it, I definitely will!

NormanKliman -> RE: Diego del Morao's album approaches!!! (Nov. 11 2010 13:28:02)

Track 5 is a siguiriya titled "Pago de la Serrana." In case anyone gets to wondering, it's no relation to the flamenco style serrana as it's the name of a neighborhood in Jerez. "Pago" and "barriada" are used like the word "barrio".

orsonw -> RE: Diego del Morao's album approaches!!! (Nov. 11 2010 15:12:01)

The first track 'Orate' is already available as a download single on itunes UK.

xirdneH_imiJ -> RE: Diego del Morao's album approaches!!! (Nov. 11 2010 20:54:19)

does anyone know if the album is available for download anywhere other than 7digital? they only accept spanish locals as buyers and i'd prefer to buy it in digital format rather than wait for the cd to arrive...i've been searching without a result...

orsonw -> RE: Diego del Morao's album approaches!!! (Nov. 11 2010 21:13:01)

At the moment itunes has just the first track available to download. I'm sure the whole album will be available from the 16th, when it's released.

xirdneH_imiJ -> RE: Diego del Morao's album approaches!!! (Nov. 11 2010 21:14:25)

yeah i can see it's Spain only now, i don't quite understand why and how...but i can wait another week after having waited 3 years :)

Adam -> RE: Diego del Morao's album approaches!!! (Nov. 11 2010 21:15:08)

I searched for his name and the album name on iTunes and came up with nothing. How'd you find him?

I'm in the UK but registered my account in the US, maybe I'm not on iTunes UK?

Elie -> RE: Diego del Morao's album approaches!!! (Nov. 11 2010 21:16:47)

Damn I really can't wait [:D]

orsonw -> RE: Diego del Morao's album approaches!!! (Nov. 11 2010 21:25:07)

I know different territories can get a release at different times even via the internet, so maybe this is the problem.

I downloaded first track 'Orate' from itunes UK, I'm listening to it right now. It's under Diego del Morao.

Adam -> RE: Diego del Morao's album approaches!!! (Nov. 11 2010 21:27:35)

Had to change region and use my UK card, but I see it now :)

Not sure about this, I think I might want to wait it out for the whole album! I also prefer to have real CDs (I know, old-fashioned) so I'm hoping some store in town will get it soon...

Unlikely in Cambridge, order the cd online.

Adam -> RE: Diego del Morao's album approaches!!! (Nov. 11 2010 21:33:43)

[:D]

Is it around any UK sites, or does one have to bite the bullet and import it from Spain?

It's a bulerias, friends. Diego played it for me in his hotel room. The feel is different ya but that doesn't mean it's not a bulerias, just part of his style.

Indeed its labeled as bulerias. But doesnt make much sense IMhO.

Andy Culpepper -> RE: Diego del Morao's album approaches!!! (Nov. 16 2010 12:49:34)

Is iTunes in the US going to get this?? Right now I could easily download the album for free but if I actually want to buy it I'm out of luck [8|]

where actually ? [;)]
itunes only has the title track available [:(]

btw that intro falseta that is on all his albums, is so great!

mezzo -> RE: Diego del Morao's album approaches!!! (Nov. 16 2010 16:05:30)

I just listen to the track with la nina pastori on youtube. (i'm not going to put the link [:)]).
The guitar is great but when the cante start...hummm i don't like it, too lighty for my taste, but Diego is awesome.

I have the impression that the whole cd is going to be available in yutu soon...

yohan -> RE: Diego del Morao's album approaches!!! (Nov. 16 2010 16:10:17)

you mean this one..

Andy Culpepper -> RE: Diego del Morao's album approaches!!! (Nov. 16 2010 16:11:38)

OK a bunch of people have asked me where to find it for free... it's not too hard, just use your Googles folks. I haven't actually tried any of the sites yet so I don't know if they actually work or not.

I think it's still early .. give it 3-6 days and it will be on rapidshare or megaupload [8D]

Doitsujin -> RE: Diego del Morao's album approaches!!! (Nov. 16 2010 17:29:28)

I will buy it. I want to hold it in my hands with booklet. Any idea where I can buy it except oversea and flamenco-world?

bursche -> RE: Diego del Morao's album approaches!!! (Nov. 17 2010 22:37:20)

What a great Album!
Definitely fulfills all my expectations.

And Mark: Thank's again for the copy of the videos =)

Adam -> RE: Diego del Morao's album approaches!!! (Nov. 18 2010 10:15:34)

Just FYI, it looks like Amazon UK has it for MP3 download:

http://www.amazon.co.uk/Orate/dp/B004CIGPXW/ref=dm_cd_album_lnk?ie=UTF8&qid=1290078693&sr=1-4

Adam -> RE: Diego del Morao's album approaches!!! (Nov. 18 2010 10:38:23)

Right, just bought the MP3s from Amazon but it looks like it doesn't come with a booklet or anything, and I want to know who's playing on each track (I know Paco and Moraíto and a bunch of others are on it). Does anyone have the actual CD who'd be able to scan the booklet or something?
