Do you mean the blueprints?

The autocad or 3ds files (or whatever program you used). I want to play with it a little [:)]. Thanks.

Ah,
yep that's another model with some body elevation....the one I've put here is a simpler model...
I'll see if I still got this one also...

EDIT:
I have overwritten the above file.
But since you want to play around with it, it fairly easy done.
In 3dsmax terms just use an FFD box to add the curvature
..and a turbosmooth ofcourse....

succes!

Cool kozz. Are you a technical drafter? It didn't take long for you to finish the modeling.

kozz -> RE: Modelling a guitar (Oct. 3 2009 23:10:34)

Hi Mike,
use it to your benefit and if any questions, just ask.

I am not a technical drafter, but started to use 3ds max, when I had to make an animation for a presentation about how particles-flow-into-fluids under the influence of a magnetic field. Very fundamental, and perhaps un-inspiring for a lot of people, but hey, it was my job at the time.
After that, I liked modelling very much and did a few final-year projects for friends of mine who were on the design academy here in Eindhoven.
They all made it, but don't tell anybody because its fraude [;)]

Nowadays I mostly use it to get an idea or inispiration what instrument to create from a calabas.
My balcony is full of calabases again and they have to dry so that next year I am able to create some instruments.
Something like this:

Mike,
the guitar comes with a capo ofcourse...
Rename the file to Capo.3DS

Grep a peg from the previous file and it should fit [;)]

kozz -> RE: Modelling a guitar (Oct. 4 2009 1:24:07)

and here's the capo

I just saw the capo, thanks.

I'd love to see with what you've come up with after playing around!
