at my very early stage of guitarplaying i even tried out a hard tension b string as a g string. but now i got used to the "g string sound" and like it as ricardo, because it gives you a wider range of tones. plus, i just love the flamenco sound that you can get on the g string! (the "click" if you know what i mean)
