I liked Simon’s approach to these situations. He would post one word—boring--and then immediately lock the thread.

I don't even read this stuff anymore. Once a thread starts to go south I quit reading...

I was referring to all the conflict on the Foro and not this thread in particular.

Me, too--stick around, Flo. This place wouldn't be the same without you.

This was not the purpose of this thread, certainly not to perpetrate the absurd, hostile, opinionated, judgmental views I read on it. What is wrong with all of you gentlemen? Did you read what I wrote or is there a language barrier? “I’ve seen that before” in French? Come on…this is a flamenco forum…

I do not care how many times Florian may see it fit to quit, as he may feel rightly frustrated with the Forum. He is unable to callously ignore offense, as it is important to him, for a simple reason that seems to elude many of you… for he does care about this forum. Losing any member is a somber and disagreeable result, I would hope you all would abhor.

Does Florian need attention, and if he does so what? How many times did he pay attention to much useless rubbish you wrote or played and no one else would care to address? He always does, the awesome fellow that he is.

I am so deeply disappointed.

So do I, but its a lot of bad energy for the foro. (It might be closed again because of all this trolling and whining)

I think this thread was boring. I was boring, Flo was boring, and this whole story is boring.

But those who badly need and cant restrain to mention that it was boring and who are really clever, are totally boring too.

Yes, you´re right, I can be boring to.

Right now, I´m mostly sad. It makes me sad to see all these irrelevant threads which has nothing to do with flamenco. Threads about how we should all behave, etiquette, apologies, warnings about the foro getting closed down. Its only bad energy

Yes, but the whole story (boring or not) was more or less finished with some smileys.

AND this was a thread about Flo and Ron.

Who forces you or anyone else to read a thread with such a title?
Know what i mean?

Thats exactly what i meant in my boring statement: "adding fuel to the fire to keep it burning".

Ok.
I also apologize on behalf of everyone including myself, who played a part in the recent events and annoyed a member (or members) one way or another. We are all human and make mistakes.

Hope that we can bring this to an end and keep the foro a good place for everyone.
