My brand new Eliasson peghead blanca finally got here after a bit of an odyssey through France.

Just wanted to share.

Looking forward to the pix. It's fun for the rest of us to dream!
Did you splurge and get the optional fret dots?

No, but he got his name on the fingerboard in mother of pearl, with a picture of him playing guitar on horseback.

Congrats, Ed!

It does call for shouting a "yipeee"!!!
Nothing like the scent of a new blanca filling the room in anticipation of those dry clear notes. Enjoy sir, thank you for sharing the momento.

[and ....Bravo Anders, el guitarrero del norte]

Congrats Ed!
Think you'll have a very nice evening man
hope you've also prepared a good little bottle for this occasion!

i'm wondering what tune you gonna play first...
maybe a nice, slow old fahioned buleria, ending with minor chords???

That's different thread and a different player

Actually I started with a siguiriyas - not because that was my mood, but I'm so fascinated by that palo. But I ended the evening with the bulerias... (and the wine)

Here're some pix (poor quality but I can't wait 'till the weekend to show off)

Very, very pretty. I like how clean the aesthetic is, and I like that distinctive but understated headstock. There’s not an ounce of fat on that sucker.

Have fun, and give us a listen when you can!
