buying a guitar in Northern Spain

I know the south is the heartland of guitar in Spain, but I am travelling to Spain in March 2008 and only have time to visit the north, barcelona, and valencia. I would like to purchase a decent flamenco guitar from a local maker. My budget is unfortunate...probably maximum 500 Euros. Could anyone offer some advice as to how I would find luthiers/reputable sellers in those areas? From Santiago to Valencia basically, excluding (reluctantly) Madrid, Seville, Cordoba, and Granada.

Maybe you can get a good deal in one of the Valencia factories. A friend of mine got a nice Sanchíz directky from the factory for a good price.

Anywhere else it will be expensive and it might be better to buy in some other country

In Valencia I would recommend the Hermanos Sanchis Lopez but I believe their entry level flamenco starts at 850Euros.
