Are you talking about the original Cinema cliffhanger series or the Antonio Banderas movies?
Funnily enough, I was watching "the Legend of Zorro" only the other day.
That stuff is basically all Malagueña. Loads of Rasgueo on a chord of E, then slide the chord up a fret, (with a rose in your teeth), then back to E and stamp your boot heel....Olé!

are you serious? :-)

sounds something like this?

E 0--1--3--1--0
B--------------------0--1--3--1--0--- -----------0--1--0--3--1--0--
------------------------------------------2--1--2------------------------2--1
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------0--

that's just like pimiento says, very basic malaguena

"it is very strenuous...playing the guitar"

Here is Zorro playing the guitar.
I love these old series. The actors look about as mexican as I do.

HEHEHE i love those soundeffects...sometimes when i am bored (if theres too much theory talking) in class to entertain myself i do the "Zorro" soundeffects to everything the teacher is saying without her noticing it until later....always works as i always entertain mself...lol

if she says something dramatic I do TAGARARAMMMM 0--1--3--1--0 Trammm etc...

if she says something deep i create the tenshion starting with soft continous rasqueado that goes loud and soft in and out lol

Dont forghet the castanets in the background for the effects otherwise it dosent feel complete ....and everything is extremly straight...and loud ...

basically u could play anything in the malaguena key and its a zorro theme...if not this one another one lol any other one

to think some guys get paid a fortune to do those for the movies
