also, if you're a white sh!tkicker who says immigrants stole your job, it's not because of evil immigrants stealing jobs, it's 'cause you're a white sh!tkicker No disagreement there, but irrelevant. Black issue is the issue here. HemeolaMan, That's called white guilt, you should get that checked. . Xenophobia is a typical human vice and it exists in all countires not just America. It's just here blacks for years blamed everyone else for their problems. Slavery is gone, their cubicles are next to white people's cubicles and their children are in the same schools. Blaming the evil white man has to stop. This country is hated not because of Bush but because people here have a good life for the most part. It's pure jealosy. ANd with Obama the pushover this country will be abused like under Carter. Just look, Putin has already moved the rockets closer to Baltic States. All of you in Europe should be getting pretty uncomfortable just about now. And then there is gas supply controled by him. And with Bush the "warmonger" gone there is only Obama the pacifier to bend over. . He will reduce the military and a child knows that you can't stay powerful without military power. Walk softly but carry a big stick, remember?

What rest of the world? Western Europe, Japan and Australia? Maybe Canada also, however people from there come to US to work for higher salaries. Come on man, there are over 200 countries in the world. What percentage of them have a high standard of living? Even in Western Europe people pay much higher taxes and gas prices are ridiculous. And then again where most of the hatred is is coming from, Afghanistan, other countries in that region and former/present communist states. Big surprise that is. Or do you think people only started hating US during Bush era. You should read up a bit on foreign relations prior to Bush. And this nonsense on what whites did, please. From the same point of view we should then condemn all the Arab conquest, Genghis Khan, descendants of Persians and the like. They all conquered and all enslaved. Or perhaps we should put that behind us like Germans did with Fascism and stop blaming others for our shortcomings. History is good to know not to repeat it. But perhaps it is the other side that doesn't know it thinking they are the only victims, the only descendants of slaves. This is the line of thought that breeds racism, instead of eradicating it. It is sad that you don't see that by singling out an ethnic group and making it a "protected class” you are encouraging and perpetuating racism. I have faith in people, I have faith in personal responsibility also. I didn't get a free ride when I came here. I paid for proper entry, I studied and worked to get a job and prove I'm worth something. Why should others get a free ride? To the last point. Remember 46% of voters voted against Obama, 52% voted for him. In other words half the population must be on to something. And again if you look into history majority also voted in Hitler.

Theres is only a few countries where people have good standard of life but even they wanna come here.. did i misunderstand that ? i mean thats what i get from that sentence Yes. People who come to US to work come from Canada, not all countries I named, hence the separate sentence "Maybe Canada....". Didn't you also say in one of your posts that Australia follows America mostly? And aren't you living there? Well then what makes you think that you have a valid judgment on the world's perception of America? But that's not the point. The point is that global view has shifted strangely from Anti-America to Anti-Bush. Reason being, people have to find themselves a face to hate. If they say we hate America, that sounds a lot like simple ungrounded jealousy. But if they say we hate Bush, that sounds so much more validated and relevant, doesn't it? The problem is judgments are not based on facts but on what is being driven to you day in day out in media coverage. People have forgotten that prior to Bush there was just as many hating, effigy-burning, suicide-bombing loonies in the world. And no surprise since America up to this day went against everything that your typical freedom-suppressing, authoritarian government stood for. Be that Iran, Iraq, Venezuela, USSR, N. Korea, China, Syria, Saudi Arabia, and the list goes on.
