I've just lost my job so now I'm so lucky to have the summer to make music instead sitting in a sweaty internet cafe with a***hole for a boss. I've just got a new band together with voice (Ulesis), fretless bass(Javi) and percusion(Demi) and myself on guitar so I'm looking forward to lots of gigs and having a bit of fun, we're making a demo on saturady and have our first gig on 12th of june in Cambridge at a party. RE: Got fired From my JOB!!!! (in reply to Fergusito)
Hi Fergus, Sometimes you need something like that to happen to just give you the final push in the right direction. I've heard a lot of interviews on the radio, by actors and musicians where getting fired was the final thing to get them into their biz full time. When you need the money, you tend to find more gigs and opportunities than just doing it for fun and a few bob on the side. Good luck!

Thanks for your support. And yes I did really need a good kick up the a**se so now I have no excusse not to make it in music, so it's really the best thing thats happened for ages. I've already found some work teaching and a couple more gigs so that makes me feel whole lot better. Fergus
