I guess I'd have to know Spanish to notice the humor, so what did I miss?

I didn't think the humour was in the content of the narration (you didn't miss much there - the guy is just going on about how this is one of the greatest guitar makers in the world, and repeating the address) but in the style of the whole thing. It's like "Come on down to Crazy Joe's Guitar Shop!"

Boy, that "example" guitar sounds pretty rough....

cheers,

Ron

PS: He puts me in mind of a guy I met in a "Flamenco" bar in Valencia (with my wife) a few years back.
We got chatting to him and he said..
"Ah..Paco de Lucia?....Hombre...he is my best friend from way back!
Tomorrow I go down to see him.
I will take you both also, in my van..
...But I have una problema con la gasolina....
I need 1500 pesetas to put into the tank, then I will call for you at your Hotel in the morning and then we all go....?

Vale?"

Ummm...No Thanks!

cheers,

Ron
