Ricardo Sanchis Carpio 1974...help

Hi all

Can anyone help me please.

I have a 1974 Ricardo Sanchis Carpio that i want to sell. It was bought by my guitar teacher from the maker in late 1974 on a trip home to Spain by him.

I have owned it from new and its been sat in it's hard case for the past 20 years in my bedroom (so not exposed to damp).

It's taking up valuable space and i dont want to just put it on Ebay without knowing what reserve to put on it but dont want to take it to my local music shop and be ripped off.

I would appreciate any advice.

Thanks

Tell us everything it says on the label. That can help a lot. A picture of the label would be better if possible.

To buy it new now, would cost about 6 times as much.
But its not new, so go for about half that figure?

But you'll get more bids and more interest generally on Ebay if you don't have a reserve at all.
maybe better to have a starting bid, not too high, to get things rolling

Maybe I've been lucky but I've always been astonished at the prices people will pay on Ebay
