Anyone used a thumbpick for the RT ...

It definitely sharpens the attack and sound on steel strings, anyone tried using one for Flamenco?

thanks

I tried this. It didn't work very well for me and it nicked the strings each time I plucked a bass note. It seemed like more of an obstacle to me than anything else, so I chose not to use it anymore. Maybe someone else can make it work.

In my opinion, the sound of the thumb is the most impotant part of something being flamenco. And I talk about the sound of the thumb where you pick with the nail and the flesh. Without this sound, it´ll never be flamenco to me. Thats just the heart of the flamenco soul. Just one note, and I´m in the flamenco world.
