El Tempul

I've finally managed to work out how this tune goes, (some thanks to Ricardo and Henrik)....sounds crap ATM but I've got 10 month though I doubt if that will be enough!

Best of luck, Ron!! I've only learned the last falseta from my teacher, and the transition to Am right before it, it's not that hard but it's such a cool falseta. Upload soon?

I gotta get round to doing my february recording...see if its improved. That last falseta with the ornaments in the picado run is still very hard to pull off.

I'm on it as well...

Which is great for the rest of you. Basically, I've been put on the earth to make other flamenco guitar players feel better about themselves.

This one is really a stretch for me... Am learning it nice and slow...

Has really given me a goal to focus on.

Come December, I think I may win the prize for "slowest, most unrecognisable version"

yay.

So if some more of you could join in - I would be really interested to see if any one out there is able to make El Tempul sound as bad as I can.

Ey, i'm trying to learn it as well, and i am stuck with the first rasgueo iai, how can paco do a golpe while is doing this rasgueo?¿?¿? It's weirddd

But, i thought i was going to be more difficult, the begining is easy, except for the thing of play it so fast.

question about the rasgueo. What finger do you start with??? i start with 'a' so when i finisht the triplet i have the i finger over the strings.

Who can contradict me???

Hi. Probably you saw this already. I cheat going fast and only do the first golpe of each group. But at 4:00 I do the slow version with golpes so you can see how it is done. Just got to get it going faster. But you know, don't be afraid to just load a version that is slow, or with a cheat like I did or henrik for example. I start with i down and the golpe at the same time. next is i up, then a down, then i down on the next beat, i up, a down, etc.

Ey ricardo, i've seen the video before, but i never got until the minute 4, i was so stuck in the second 34!! You are great! I always learn more from your videos than from the paco's ones. So start with i downstroke was the perfect solution. thanks.

My video upload, i'll try it at the end of february, but i'm only trying the first falsetas, i'll upload what i get.

Ey, henrik, how do you do an a i a rasgueo?¿?¿ i think it's much more difficult. Don't you have enough with the iai one??
