Hey Patrick! thanks ...yeah the RODE's are a nice stereo match for flamenco guitar. The Neumann's are a little better at the highs and overall picture in stereo but it's also 4 times the price. I'm running them on some Apogee converters and wow what a difference! A little bit of EQing and honestly, it's hard to tell them apart. It sounds great on both the Barba blanca and DeVoe negra. Logic is great as well and I highly recommend both products.

I'm also thinking of experimenting with ribbon mics by Royer as ribbons are a great combination especially when recording digital. From what I've heard these are what Paco uses these for recording:
