And a big Happy New Year from the Heartland of the US...here is hopeing that the New Year will bring much needed wisdom both here and in the world! And, also a grand wish for a more intelligent president for us since the present one is an a++whole!!
Happy new year foro folks! Been away for a bit and have missed all the festive chat. Hope everyone who celebrates it, had a good xmas!!!! Ole for 2008!
Hi Val, Nothing too exciting really, Started by travelling an hour south to see my mum/sister/5 nieces and nephews, stayed there for a few days, then drove to dorset to see my dad for 3 days, then back to my mums, then back london for xmas day and boxing day then went to amsterdam on 27th til 29th, then new years partys. hadn't really had a chance to check the foro.
You missed the last pena course, you coming to the next one?? Bad news, I quit smoking so you'll be "the only smoker in the village" again
Impressive - and long may it last. I'll get there in the end - one of these days. I say that about guitar practice too, but I'll be at the next pena course - looking forward to it.
I too had a family packed Christmas, but all here at my place. They've nearly all gone now, just my mother to take back to Manchester. Before I can get my guitar out (more excuses) there's some fairly major holiday debris to clear and clean, plus repairs. I had 3 and 5 year old grandchildren plus friend here and between them they managed to leave a trail of s**t on my cream bedroom carpet, pull down a shower rail, pull down curtains (plus rail) in the sitting room, throw 2 glasses of wine over my new, unused cream sofa... Still, it's very quiet without them. Val
