Guitar Tweaks

Hello
I am a new member and new to Flamenco guitars, though ive been playing guitar in some form for nearly thirty years. I have just bought a medium price classical as a compromise to an expensive flamenco guitar as I want to be able to develop my playing in both directions.

I have a couple of questions which im struggling with:
1: Is there a particular material preferred for the bridge and nut for flamenco sound? So I could swap from one to another for different tones.
2: Do high tension strings provide a better flamenco sound?
3: Is there a preferred string make for members here?
4: Do those string end bridge bead things work ie better sustain sharper tone?

Thanks in anticipation
Doug

ps
Happy new year

RE: Guitar Tweaks (in reply to caravaggio

ignore the beads. unless you want them. i may buy some just to review them. but my guitar stomps ass already, hard to imagine it getting any better =)

as for the strings, i use d'addario pro arte composites. they are an excellent middle ground and allow me to play both calssical and flamenco easily. i use hard tension.
