Well I'm sorry, there ain't none here. I want you, all of you to go out and sit down and think about it. What is it about playing a flamenco guitar, or whatever, a classical. Let's stop. What would you pass on to the next generation of players. What would be your pearl of wisdom that you think that you have acquired in your journeys, that you would pass on to your students?
howard, this is a great thread. i'm glad you've decided to be constructive
listen to your muscles. feel where everything is, play each stroke with the weight of your body and gravity behind it.
visualize where your fingers are, where they are going, and the space they will move through. then use the least amount of energy possible to get there.
don't obsess about your nails. don't obsess about your strings. don't make excuses.
maintain a practice regimen that is organized and leaves time for rest.
hman, don't be fooled. This may appear to be a good idea for a thread but he's settin you up for a fall. But since i'm replyin my pearl of wisdom would be ......................'geese can be troublesome'
I think I have some pearls of wisdom to pass along.
#1 Cheap vodka tastes the same as the expensive stuff. #2 It's usually best to determine whether it's AM or PM, before proceeding. #3 Burns suck. Don't play with fire.
You guys want a challenge? Try getting your arm burned up. Be grateful for what you have, and don't stress over the little things. This experience has taught me a few things.
I think the most valuable lesson I have have learned from this, is just to be grateful that I'm alive. This is the worst thing physically that's ever happened to me. Getting my arm all burned up has tuaght me some humillty. I guess I haven't showed that with my arrrogant posts, but you know what? I don't care. This whole burned up arm thing has given me a chance to sit back and reflect on my life, and the way things should have been and all that.
I will heal from this, and I am sure I will go on to do great things. I am kind of sorry, (not really) for messing up you little forum with my distasteful crap.(Bring on that Florian MFer!)
Mr. Florian, i didn't mean to disenfranchise you, but you know what? You needed it. You are a pompous ass who needs someone to kick you in that very famous ass. Let's see, you devoted three pages to ripping this guy Jaun Martin new one. And what else? oh yeah you suck. I knew you would respond if I put your name in there. Of corse you did, how could you not? I got. you by the balls now, you little son- of a - bitch.
Let's review your posts, shall we? We should begin at the beginning,

Howard I'm so sorry about your arm. Time will pass and it WILL heal. The experience may have messed with your head so I forgive you your obnoxious posts. Val
no one wants a challenge. Who said they did? No one cares about your burned arm!! Prob isn't even burned! No one cares about your trials and lessons you've learnt. Stop talking!!!
1-Practice Slowly 2-Focus 3-Erase " I Can't and they must be Gods" out of your vocabulary. 4-Set realistic goals. 5-TRANSCRIBE= Every time you spend a ridiculous amount of money for a single transcription tou are cheating yourself. How do most flamencos learn to play?
@ADMINS:............i think we had enough of this guy..........dont you think???????
Since 2 days he is insulting the people without any reason and is calling the people....Motherf.uckers....son of bitches.....etc....
Ah come on Arash. It's fun. Reminds of that Monty Pyton scene in the "holy grail". When that knight is lying there with his arms and legs cut of, shouting to his opponents: "come here you cowards "
I am kind of sorry, (not really) for messing up you little forum with my distasteful crap.
Howard...I showed you the yellow card and you chose to ignore it. This is a Flamenco forum, not a general social networking group. There are plenty on the Internet if you look for them.
Your posting privileges on this one have been withdrawn.

Finaly, Ron.M, about time. I can't believe this nonsense was tolerated for so long. Howard was obviously a weird, wierd man with a lot of issues. Just wasting space...and air.

I think he's just symptomatic of a lot of online forums where people start fights with people they don't know, for who knows whatever reason... Howard is dead, long live the foro!
