I don't want to be a "lurker" so here goes. My name is Howard and I'm from the suburbs of Atlanta, Ga. I started playing when I was 13 (I'm now 45.) But I kind of lost interest a few years ago. Sold all my stuff. Then I got guitar withdrawal and went out a bought a steel string acoustic. I've recently gotten interested in flamenco again. I'm not exactly new to it, but 20 years ago, there were very few resources. If there had been an internet back then, who knows how things would have turned out. So I've beeen plinking around on the steel string. Bad idea. I'm looking for a cheap classical to play around with, get my finger moving again, etc. I don't think I have much to say, but there it is. I have now graduated from "lurker" to what, "troll?" I guess I'll go back under my bridge now.

Welcome Howard!
Even if you don't have much to say yet, you might hear (read?) something useful

a troll is someone who pops up just to cause trouble with no interest in the topic at hand so i don't think you fit into that category, Howard

Welcome Howard.
There's no guide to the foro.
Just use your sunglasses and crucifix against the jolly JM posts.

As for the so called "instructional nerd posts":

Hey, just get rid of those donormyl pills, cause you won't be needing them anymore.

And you're welcome, here on the foro, you don't really have to worry about what you are as long as you enjoy it as much as you can, along with others on the foro. If you worry about what you are percieved to be you'll never enjoy reading and posting, so have at it! And, get that guitar......
