Online Moraito video/his guitar

I'm sure most people have already found this one, but just in case:

http://www.duendeflamenco.com/Moraito/pg_moraito_tablature.htm

Its a cool little video clip of Moraito demonstrating a Tangos falseta. Click on 'the humble king' link.

I really love the sound of Moraito's guitar, both on the album I have (Morao Y Oro) and on this clip. Even though Real Audio is a crap medium and sound quality is always awful, you can tell that his guitar really sings. Of course, obviously the player has an awful lot to do with it, but hopefully you will see (hear) what I mean. It seems so incredibly loud too, in comparison with his voice, and I couldn't see a mic anywhere in shot.

Now if only I could find a 750 quid guitar that sounded like that...

Jon

Hmm, honestly, I can't say whether I like the guitar or not. Some people seem to be able to hear a guitar on a CD and say, that's a great guitar! I'm like are you crazy? Like ol' Behzad would say he doesn't like Condes because of how Tomatito's Conde sounds on his CDs. First of all, it's Tomatito, second, there's EQ, third, there's reverb, comp, etc....can you tell anything at all about the qualities of the guitar? I'm not saying anything bad about Behzad I just honestly don't know how one could tell.

Anyway, Moraito's arm seems short, his fingers somewhat long and slender, and his thumb extremely long. His playing position looks very efficient and comfortable.
