RE: Hey Colin! Nice paintings (in reply to Escribano

Hello Simon. Thanks, it keeps me off the streets if I do a bit of scribbling.
The Jerez gig was fantastic. A party every night, great music. The peña was great craic too on the last night. Soleares, tangos and belly dancing! Well done big man! Well done to Feargus for some deft accompanying. I learnt a lot. It´s all in the rythym and not in the falsetas I think. And Jerez is such a friendly city.

I went to Valencia a couple of days ago. I´m living the life of riley at the moment. I saw the fallas where they burn 50ft high paper sculptures. I also found a guitar factory, Ricardo Sanchis. I tried one out. There were palo santos and cypress. The action of course was very low and easy. The palo santo had a more serious tone to it. it´d be great for a soleares or a sigiuriyas (can´t spell that one)
I´m still practicing the solea por bulerias at the moment and finding it very rich.

saludos a todos

Col

Hey Col son how does bulerias sound upside down on a Sanchis?
