terrible that I missed that........damn damn damn,.....
I never know when there is something to do.... I subscribed myself at some website who said they inform you when there is something to do. But I haven't received any mail....
Please tell me how I can find out about these events? How was it?

so yesterday first up manolo franco solo with a cantaor and another guitarist. it was nice but not more, I expected more, I love manolo when he plays solo but with the other guitarplayer it was sometimes too much and not really exciting.
then Pitingo, pitingo is ofcourse pitingo, you love or hate him. Well I love him but he did not really sing much flamenco, it was with a lot of influences from pop and rock music, hard to understand but it was, he sang yesterdag from the beatles..... juan carmona habichuela was the guitarist.
Then, manuela carasco, great show, great indien music mixed with flamenco, incredible footwork......it was good.
But if it was up to me and the same event was next week, I wouldn't go anymore.

Hi, actually I DID saw the show:-)
Bought some last minute tickets; 2x30€ (slik) but the view was well worth it.
As you said;
Manolo Franco's granaina in the beginning I loved it, but when the others joined in.... I don't always like two or three guitars....one guitar is so much more subtile.
Pitingo; What an amazing talent, but sadly I didn't liked it.....when he started singing Yesterday......I was even a little bit pissed of......."you've gotta be kidding me " I tought. Seems like every musical genre in the world now has a cover of that song. Terrible. But what a talent, did you notice the crazy rythme he produced while snapping his fingers/palmas??
The baile was very powerfull and interesting to see, but not much I can say about that.
Glad I saw pitingo once, If he ever decides to go puro y jondo than I'll be his biggest fan, but for now I'm a bit dissapointed. Off course I respect him as an artist....who I don't like.
I realised more than ever that I like it puro y jondo. Seguirias, solea, ... Like the first minute of Pitingo....what palo was it again?? From what I can remember it was about "muerte lento etc" so I guess it was a seguiria....THAT I liked....:-)
