I hope you guys will join me in congratulating our forum member my friend and Domenic's. Aloysius . who is getting married this weekend to a beautiful dancer named Kristy , Domenic and I are playing at the wedding , which ( I am not kidding) is next to a nudist beach, I cant wait !!! I leave for the wedding tomarow morning because its quite a long distance from Adelaide.
they's honeymoon unfortunately will be cut short because of the rehersals (just 2 days, but lets face it, you dont really need any longher than that ) besides they will be spending the rest of they'r honeymoon with uncle Juan and I ...what more do you want

Doit, A very accurate graph IMO. Spot on!
The reason for this I think is the way the female brain works.
Women win a lot of arguments by "shifting the subject".
You can often hear this with Politicians on the radio. The male ones always make a complete ass of themselves by not answering the question, whereas the female ones don't.
A good personal example at home goes like this....
Ron: Look...I told you the film starts at 8.30pm, not 7.30pm as you said. Wife: Where does it say that? Ron: Here in the TV paper. Here ...take a look. Wife: Well, that wasn't what I heard. Ron: Yeah...but this is the TV paper and it's usually pretty reliable. Wife: Reliable? Huh....tell me about reliable.....that back door lock you said you would fix 3 weeks ago is still sticking. Ron: I oiled it and tried it and it seemed to work OK for me. Wife: Yeah...so long as it works for you then everything's OK... isn't it? Ron: Well nobody told me there was still a problem for heaven's sake! Wife: Yeah...that's your problem...you're always too busy sat on your fat ass playing that guitar to listen to anything.......
Now, note the crafty "sliding" of the argument onto a completely different subject and how I fell for the trap.
This is not learned behaviour IMO, but a genetic structure of the female brain.

Wow Ron. That's funny. But when I read between the lines, I think your wife is just not content. She's not interested in arguing or logic. She's just grabbing every comment you make to show her mood. So, make her happy. And she will agree with everything you say.
Ah come on, you know it works that way, no ? I guess evry man does.

Actually you are right, that doesn't apply to me at all. Dave and I have been together for 6 years and have never had an argument. Smug or what?!!!
Usually I don't do arguing at all, think it's a waste of energy and life's too short. However tonight I did lose my rag and I'm feeling pretty bad about it - I just couldn't help it. It's the Pena tonight in London, and I had spent most of yesterday sewing a new backdrop, to cover up the tat that was there in the venue. I was half way through putting it up when someone who shall be nameless said don't bother, and I went "I spent ****ing hours sewing that yesterday, and it's going up!" Well it did get up, but I'm not proud of my outburst. Just feeling my efforts not much appreciated.

of course rons importent, hes an administrator here with simon. And congrats ALO, the wedding was truely special man. I am so happy for you, i know you are over the moon about the whole thing and you deserve to be happy, you are one of the best person i know.
