Anyone know the dates of the Feria De Jerez? I need another fix Hi Simon: Last year I was there on June 2 and 3, so it'll be around then. The Festival de Córdoba will actually precede it, starting April 25 and ending May 5 and the feria de Sevilla starts April 27, ending May 2. Ferias and festivals are completely different, it depends on what you're looking for. Ferias take a lot of time and money...you wander around the fair grounds for hours watching people line up for rides, eating junk food because there's nothing else to do, hanging around empty casetas because you heard there was going to be some flamenco and then it turns out to be sevillanas...flamenco stuff tends to start very late, you might not find anything until 5 or 6 in the morning, if at all. Festivals are nice because you can pace yourself, see a couple of decent shows, have proper meals, meet up with friends... I'm definitely going to the Festival de Córdoba, but haven't decided about the ferias of Jerez or Sevilla. Ferias aren't flamenco events, festivals are. Estela 'Zata'

Hola Melchor It was great to meet all of you in Jerez and be able to put names to faces. I am glad too that at last someone has taken my advice to buy a guitar from Rafael: I have been playing one for years. Remember you are all welcome in Cadiz. Un abrazo Sean
