Oh yes and if your have sand in your vagineeeee don't worry about coming.
Where did that comment come from Gabe? You know if you a bad boy you get what's coming to you. Yes - I take away your stars. No wonder you -116 already!
Anyway I would have thought a bit of friction was helpful.

So what did y'all have in mind? Any chance anyone could be around during the week of 18th May to 25th May? I help a friend organise a Flamenco holiday in Alhaurin el Grande. As well as lessons, we get to dance at the Feria etc. Plenty of chance to play guitar for audiences or in dance class. I've got 2 spare rooms (a double and a twin) and a couple of friends also have space, so money wouldn't be an issue. We could get you guitar lessons from a local teacher (you'd obviously have to pay his rate) who comes highly recommended. Can't remember his name at the moment, but a guy who had lessons with him last year was thrilled. He said he learned more from him in a week than he's learned in the past several years. Gave him lots of stuff - recordings etc) to take away with him to keep him going for the rest of the year. Think about it. Val

Aha so you know Maya. I think Ramparts ( Adam) from the forum posted a recording of her with Emilio playing a seguiriya at a concert. Cant find it so if you are reading this Adam can you post the link. She is a good friend and lives nearby so we often eat together, she taught me how to make sushi. She'll be recording with us soon when we start Emilio's next album. Small world

so how's your waistline coming back from Lake Powell? Sorry Gabe that was a very personal question - none of my business.
Anyway Spain - as you know I am dead keen to meet up and no better place than Andalucia. But, but, but, (there's always a but), I can't come between 19th May and 24th June. This is because my two boys have serious exams during those weeks and I need to be there to be a good mom - lots of tlc, encouragement, support, cook their favourites meals etc.etc.etc. But look, the trip doesn't revolve around me. If that's the best time for everyone else, I'll catch up with you on the next one!

Flo you aint goin anywheres cos you saving for your new guitar. Though how we can have a Foro meet without you I can't imagine. Buddy we'll have to just be online the whole time so you can be with us... err..... electronically.
Good reasons to go to Spain: we can see some fantastic flamenco performances availability of really great teachers speak Spanish (a beautiful language) wonderful weather (mostly) cheap bars, open late some Foro members already there (Kate, Simon, Pimientito and others) generally just a great atmosphere.
Kate recommended this place to me in Granada and it does look fabulous - really individual. http://www.elnumero8.com/house.html Guys, can't you just imagine us playing guitar out on that terrace with a glass of wine?

I'll finish my high school in June 2008. So July August September are set for everything for my heart. I'll most likely go to Gerardo's Curso. If Foro meets down there that would be fantastic. So, you count on me the next summer. Matic

Well it's official I started my savings for Spain today, my boss is taking out 200 a month from my pay check so I will have like 1600 in june of 2008.
I am pretty flexible give or take a month so not sure what people want to do but I would love to know what kind of shows workshops and or private lessons will be available in June, is there anybody that could direct me towards that info.
And since I am going maybe Ricardo or Escribano or anybody else could tell me where I should go for the best experience.
I hope I get to meet some of my internet friends from the forum.
Thanks gabeeeeeee.
