Great pic Val - those Carmona boys are good looking, no?

Where is your local Pena 30k from Malaga?

Hey Val,

Farucca hasn't got far - I have a lesson on Sunday so am practising stuff for that atm. I'd certainly like to catch Juan Antonio and am up for workshops etc, so let me know.

I'll be seeing you in a couple of weeks on the course anyway!

At the beginning of each show there was a very serious announcement about no photographs, no recording devices etc

Yeah and then everyone in the audience got their mobile phones, video and mini disc recorders out. There were literally hundres of people videoing the concert. In England, you get recording stuff taken off you but here in Spain everyone records everything!! I was at the Paco concert too. The second half had one of the best performances of Zyryab I have heard.

Local "aficionados" who dont know anything about flamenco in Andalucia can prove to be a pain. Too many people think they are Camaron because they know a fandango and moan at you when you play in a strange (correct) compas.

Yeah, i saw gerardo in the nerja caves which was spectacular (see photo)and caught part of the tomatito concert. There were just too many concerts. I had my own gigs and i had to spend a week getting over a throat infection. However a lot of those concerts do a circuit so they will be up granada way this autumn.

I didn't know that, and we've got a couple of trips planned for October and November. Any chance you could post it on the Foro if you hear of anything going on? Pretty please
