Hello, this guitarist has a very clean style and a very good technique! I was not really impressed from the picado which is not so strong respect to his rasgueo. Good!
Very good and solid player. Left hand is amazing imo.

I agree it wasn't particularly strong or fast, although stronger and faster than my own, but what struck me was the way he seems to drag is thumb across the strings almost seemingly to anchor (?) his right hand. I don't know, just have never seen that technique - not that it hasn't been done before, just had never seen it.

Actually i tried to play some picado right now with that thumb position and it is really uncomfortable to play picados like that but somehow i feel that i have a little bit more power in my "i" and "m" finger when playing only on one string.
Maybe he use it to dampen the Bass strings so that they dont sound? I dont know.

Sounded kinda flubbed. The triplet rasgueados are not defined, and he's a hair behind, from trying to go too fast.
His alzapua is especially weak. Its fairly defined, but soft as a pillow. He's got really long nails, and he's being very finesse'y with them. He should file them down, and dig in more. Just my 2, T

Niño de pura does this, it keeps the basses from ringing too.
Yeah Sam, I've heard that guy before. He's good!! In that piece it sounds a bit like his nails are too short or something? The Alzapua sounds a bit too fleshy as well as the picado.
But the music's all there!
