Yeah!! As Kate mentioned in her post these days Emilio Maya will come with his group, Paco Pena too and some Slovene flamenco groups, Branko (branquito) with his group from Belgrade and Anže Palka (who is a director of this festival) will play the last night. There will also be masterclasses by Paco, Emilio and Ivan. Don't know what to attend yet. I could go for both guitarist's seminar (festival shedule allows) but I doubt I'm good enough to go for any... I'm happy.

Hey Matic,
Emilio and his group plays on the 16th Oct. Go and say hello and say you know of him from Simon's forum. Maya, the violinist speaks English and Emilio more than he lets on. I'm sure you will get a lot out of his workshop whatever your level.

Svetujem, da si ogledaš link , ki sem ga prilimal zgoraj. Seminarji trajajo po 3 ure in, res je, da je vse skupaj precej drago, če si ''aktivni udeleženec''.
KATE: It says Emilio plays on 18. Oct. and the same day he holds a MasterClass. I'm a bit scared of this word because I'm not even a burp of a master but I doubt they really want some 'really advanced' players to attend because there are few here around. I will attend Emilio's class most likely and Paco's class 'passively' (as they name the presence at the seminar without actually playing the guitar)

Hey Matic,
Doesn't master class means Emilio is the master ? Or maybe its just a better way of saying a workshop. He's coming over in a minute so will ask him, but then I am heading off to England to get some rain, fish and chips and a curry so wont be online for a while. Dont know if I'll get a chance to post before I go.
Anyway I still say go for it, as you say cant be that many flamencos, never mind advanced ones, in Slovenia, who knows you may be the only one there and a get a private master class.

Ajmo prijavite se na Emiliev masterclass. Ni tako drag kot Pacov ampak zaenkrat nima dovolj prijav, zato še ni sigurno ali sploh bo. To je življenjska prilika!
Tukaj je info. Koncert je v Štihovi dvorani Cankarjevega doma. Vstopnice se dobijo na blagajni CD. Ne vem, kako je s prodajo, svetujem ti, da vprašaš na mail info@siff.si ali pa pokličeš v cankarjev dom.
