Leeds - West Yorkshire

Hi

New to this great forum. Just wondering if anyone from the area happens to know if there's any flamenco type stuff going on in Leeds? I heard there used to be a Pena, but not sure if it still exists. Also, any flamenco guitar teachers in the area?

Hi James and welcome. There's definitely a Pena in Hull - who runs that guys? Someone with a memory tell James here !

There are some listings on a performers site called www.flamencoagenda. There is definitely some flamenco going on in a small very scenic Yorkshire town, the name escapes me at present.

I think it's Hebden Bridge near Halifax.

You can take beginner and continuation flamenco guitar classes at Horsforth Music Centre in Leeds on Saturday mornings.
