Home Now

Just returned from four fantastic weeks in Spain. I visited E.Burguets factory near Alicante, very impressive! Also I dropped in on the Cashimira factory in Gata de Gorgos. All staff were extremely helpful and I would highly recommend a visit if you are in the region.
Further South could not really locate any flamenco lutheirs.
Went as far as Cartagena in the province of Murcia and no sign of flamenco anywhere. Maybe I was not looking that hard!
Can anybody suggest where I might find flamenco in this region when I return in October?

Wow you were there for Cante de Las Minas at La Union, it was such an impressive line up this year, hope you got to see it.

This year's festival was dedicated to the singer Chano Lobato, who also performed as well as Julián Estrada and Sara Baras, El Cabrero and the Gerardo Núñez quintet, Israel Galván, Rocío Molina and José Mercé.

Also in August there was the Lorca festival with Joe Cocker and Tomatito playing.

Cartagena also has a wonderful festival to celebrate Hannibal, but its in September from the 21 to the 30.
