I love when turkish girls sing. She is singing a turkish folk song to the rhythm of tangos. It fits naturally, and the guys play really good. Thanks for finding this!

Its also in phrygian, in G#, but the C in G# chord doesnt fit. Sounds like it should be lower, but not as low as B. Maybe because of the different tone-system.

They did an awesome job in making a Tangos out of it. I hope more flamenco cante will be like this. Modern cante develops more in a jazzy way. I think the turkish style is much more authentic to flamenco. It really fits natural. Its so hard, i dont want to get back to flamenco cante. But there are not much other alternatives

Now that's just cool! Flamenco and Arabic/Turkish/Persian music is a very natural fit (as is, to a lesser extent, with Indian music, I'm totally into Indialucia right now!
