I haven't booked anything - can I pay at the door, or do we meet up at a bar beforehand? I am new to this.
Some of the shows at the Villamarta theater are likely to be sold out already, possibly Farruquito for example. The others are small venues and you can pay at the door, the peñas are free but fill up very quickly and you might not get in unless you get there early.

I don't have tickets for anything Saturday either and i arrive saturday mid-afternoon, all being well. Which means i miss Carmen Linares which I am still whinging about. :-(
Someone recommended Lole actually. I will be meeting Robin in the afternoon so I'll play it by ear but Estela I have your number and I hope to see you in Pena la Buleria at 1am if not before and Simon if u like i could probably meet you on the way there.
Re tickets: Last year everyone started queuing at the ticket office at the front of the Teatre from 6pm or something, can't quite remember. The other shows generally just grab a note off you as you enter.
Update re. Colin: Rene can't make it now and Colin was given time off for 8th to 11th. Spoke to Melchor and he was going to confirm the accomodation yesterday so i hope okay i have said to colin the flat will be okay.
I can't wait I can smell jerez already!!! See you soon

Carmen is in the Bodega which is the 'Cafe Cantante' series, usually meaning "flamenco singers doing something other than flamenco", so you may have been saved from a fake worse than death (as Pogo once said).
I do hope to make it to the Peña la Bulería.

Anything you want to see at the theater should be booked in advance...even if tickets remain, they might be the most expensive ones or the ****tiest ones...and some things sell out quickly.

Yes, I would like to go and will call you on Saturday afternoon to arrange a meet. I'll try and get an update and address from Melchor now.

Hi Guys for those of you who are going to Jerez please check your emails. I have sent you the address and telephone number of Conchi, the owner of the flat. Could you tell me when you are arriving at Jerez so I can tell her when to expect you?
Me, I will fly on Tuesday the second. Enough time to say hello to my parents, have a shower and go out to meet you.
Melchor
