Whoah, I just got dragged into the youtube worm hole. again. After watching this vid, which was great, I clicked on Tomatito playing for Farruco, then some Paco, into some scences from Vengo, Then the tango from Latcho Drom, and thirty minutes went by while I was swimming in great flamenco. One click later I was back in my office at work, and it's time to go to ,uh, work. Thanks for the infusion Romerito!

Great stuff Kev!
Do folk see what I've always been saying about Bulerias...
It's about fun and having a good time and showing off what you can do where you can.
NOT (IMO) about trying to be windswept and cool like a moody folksinger or singer/songwriter...

Gotta be a toetappin' rhythm IMO, not some complex head-up-the-ass passionate rendition of the Blues in Flamenco timing...

People do this stuff in Spain for a good night out, not for a technical excercise.

cheers

Ron

Thanks romerito, I actually prefer singing and accompaniment to the 'novelty' of solo guitar. It's really great and entertaining. Sometimes I like to sing and play my own accompaniment for the love and the practice. It's a nice way to start when I pick up the guitar to play, affords tremendous energy, and expression. It can make me ready to play the solo work, when I need the inspiration. I also love solo guitar.....

I don't know who is that guitarrist but I think Sara Baras is behind Juana.

I think the mystery guitarist is Anton Jimenez. Looks like his pic in the Nueva Escuela liner notes.

Nicely spotted, Jake! I think that's him.
