Compass guitars

Anyone know anything about the "new Compass guitars" offered at Flamenco-world.com?

Yes,
They are guitars with "built in" compás.
You just play the Tab and the guitar does the rest for you.

Sorry Amigo, I'm not making fun of you....I got an email from them today, but I haven't read it yet.

It was just the marketing name that made me laugh.

BTW Welcome to the Forum!

cheers,

Ron

And the head always points north. So if you're right-handed, you must play facing east.

Ha ha ha. Very funny! I like you guys: I won't need to worry about rhythm and I'll never get lost in the woods.

Joking aside I went to seville last weekend and had a dig around the guitar shops - saw a compass blanca and it had a lovely low action and bright sound - conde hermanos strings as standard - only 350 euros with a case - I wandered and wandered some more tried a couple of Postigy's from the makers shop agiain nice guitars but 200 euros more than the factory made compass - maybe it was just a good one I tried but as a knock about guitar that I don't mind the kids touching - I wish I'd bought the thing. It was easy to play and sweet sounding - not suggesting you use it at the Albert Hall though!
