A friend of mine went there last year and said that some people from San Francisco were snobby to him because they caught him singing Gypsy King songs!

Michael;

That can be solved. Sing the songs backwards and they will think it is flamenco!

I know some of the people that attend and a good number are very serious - perhaps too serious! Well, it takes all kinds to make a world. Learning to accept others is only a part of life. By the way my wife and I love serious flamenco as well as the Gypsy Kings. Everything has a place.

Even Mariano Cordoba who loves traditional flamenco said something nice about the Gypsy Kings, when we had lunch with him a few weeks ago. "They are the best at what they do and they make a living at it. No one plays rumba better"!

Now let me guess who had his or her nose in the air? Ahhh yes, but who cares? The idea is to have fun!
