Our website offers much more than flamenco and classical guitars for sale, we have an extensive collection of mp3 recordings of the many guitars that have come through our hands, we also keep archives of all the guitars we've sold with pictures, mp3s. You will find in our articles, a guide to historic guitars makers in Spain. We also offer biographies of the Spanish luthiers we represent. Our FAQ is fairly comprehensive. And there is much more.
RE: Zavaleta's La Casa de Guitarras (in reply to zavaletas)
Sorry to bump this, but I just had to add some current information. I special ordered a Pedro Maldonado (made by hijo Luis Miguel Ruiz Maldonado) model "Andalucia" with pegs. I'm so happy! it's a superb blanca! Loads of rasp and burn... perfectly balanced from basses to trebles and " loveliness of tone" that I especially love in Maldonado flamencos. Price as of last spring was $4800 (to note: it does have a 2-piece, book-matched back). Ordering through Zavaletas was easy and I especially appreciated the efforts of James Greenberg and staff. It took about 5 months to receive my guitar, but shipping was included, as well as an excellent hard-shell case for the price. It absolutely sings! James has quite a few excellent quality guitars available on the website, but special orders are also available. Multiple "thumbs up!"and many thanks to James. [image]
