Stu - I agree with you agreeing with romerito about Juan Habichuela, as well as not knowing what he's on about! Replying to an invisible post?

Looks interesting. Can't say that I've ever heard him play, but he's going to feature some cantaores I really like.

Samwise - Juan is a great accompanist and appeared on some 50 recordings by various singers before doing a disc of his own just a few years ago. That first one is called "De la Zambra al Duende" and has some great stuff on it. But he's still an ensemble player, so it's loaded with guests like Chano Lobato, Montse Cortés, Tomatito, José Mercé, Potito, Rancapino, Manolo Caracol, Alejandro Sanz, Paco de Lucía.
I find his playing really sweet.
