Escribano's videos, LOL!

Just had to share this video with y'all in case you hadn't seen it:

I think this is "our Escribano".

Note the comments from one young lady saying:

Ahhhh this Escribano dude... *pants*

Simon replies with:

Hola chica. Soy lejano pero oigo mucho. ¡Yo voy a ser tu papito rico, desde la selva!

By my translation that means:

Hello girl. I am distant but I hear very much. I am going to be your rich daddy, from the forest!

LOL, ok, ok...

Definitely an Escribano vid. The phrase "Yo voy a ser tu papito rico" gives it away.

"papito rico" = "cool guy" in Mexican slang
"selva" = "jungle" in Spanish whilst "forest" is more commonly "bosque"

Yes, literally "papito rico" means "little rich daddy" but I am told that colloquially it means a cool or yummy guy in Mexico. I am not going to argue with that, as it is patently apparent

Only friends make one truly rich though.

In latin america, 'papito' or 'papi' is a term of endearment from a girl which can mean she thinks her/the guy is hot, and 'rico' is like delicious, so a 'papito rico' means that the guy's got it goin' on! Good work Simon!
