Thanks for the little slap on the wrist Jon, I have in fact been doing some searching and was about to amend my post to say 'give the new kid a break and forget what I just said' but you beat me to it!
Turns out it was sage advice from El Ted, judging by the atmosphere in some of those old posts concerning... um... (whispers) JM...

My post was genuine - I don't understand why you felt that. I was politely suggesting that you have a look at previous discussions on Juan, to get a feel for what is a very touchy subject with some people and hopefully avoid the same stuff happening all over again.

As a newbie you may not yet have had a look through the archives using the search function.

Edit - I just re-read my post - was it the inverted commas round 'search' that made you think I was being sarcastic? If so, I wasn't. Not all newbies will have seen the link at the top of the page, and also not all people have English as their first language, I was trying to be helpful.

Sorry for any misunderstanding Jon, I didn't take any offence and even if you had been (gently) chiding me I would have deserved it for not doing my research on what was obviously a loaded comment from el ted. Also, despite being an antipodean I do have some grasp of subtlety (and understanding of English humour) and was maybe reading between the lines a bit too much. Maybe also a bit nervous from past experience posting on sites where newbies go like lambs to the flame...
So thanks for the reply and sorry to have caused any stress
