we have there hunderds of flamenco players and the problem that we dont have any support or even a place to practice and play togother, we always go to play in the beach or in nighberhoods,
the good happend in 2005 a flamenco band came to bahrain "tito losada" they usually play with paco pena,
before the show there was a workshop with them, but the bad thing that there was no advertisment, and most the players didnt about the workshop, only the people who know is the "bahrain flamenco band",
here is "bahrain flamenco band" play gerardo nunez tanguillo:
sounds great to me. You see, flamenco can be played anywhere in the world and still be convincing I think. It's maybe not the same but it coms close...:))
Looks like your country is also quite small, no? just a little island near Qatar? And is it good living over there because I don't hear much about Bahrein..
