Paco continues his tour of France left off last year. Two horrible pictures I took with my telephone. As cameras are forbidden in the hall, with bodysearch at the entrance, loads of people still had a small digital camera. I think I have to invest in something like that just for the quality. I was on the third row with a pair of binoculars, Paco was just in front of me really closed-up, compared with last July when he was 200 metres away. The programme was the same 'Cositas buenas'. Amazingly, the place was only two-thirds full, the first time I saw an unpacked hall.

It's roughly the same concert as it has been for the past 2 years. Not the most inspirational I've seen but I always enjoy it. Even more or less the same pieces with Palenque, Solo Quiero Caminar which were sung by Pepe before, Zyrab, Cositas buenas, finishing always with an improvised version of Entre dos aguas. Second guitar by Nino Josele, Singers: Montse Cortes, Chonchi Heredia; Percussions by El Pirana; Bass guitar Alain Perez; Harmonica: Antonio Serrano. Paco plays a Conde Media Luna negra I think for the past couple of years, not the one with the famous scratch. I paid 60 euros for it this time, £20 in London twenty years ago. Still reasonable compared with Madonna's prices.
Watching with a pair of binoculars for over an hour gives me a headache at the moment, even after a night sleep! I was particularly interested in watching close up his picado, ligado and triplet rasgueo, as opposed to Oscar Herrero and Nunez.
I would like to know about the singers, who is Montse and who is Chonchi?

It cheered me up to see the little mini-rainforest is looking so well after all these years of travelling around the world. I wonder if it all folds down to a flat-pack, or if they keep each plant in it's pot when going on a flight? Maybe they're taken on board as hand baggage up in First Class, or even have seats booked?
Anyway, they must be the most travelled plants on the planet.
Maybe they'll be auctioned off on Ebay when the tour eventually runs out of steam?
Forgive me...I'm starting to become obsessed with this...
cheers
Ron

I don't think there is first class travel on airlines these days within Europe, only in Business. Mind you, I think they probably travel in first class on trains in France. I would have liked to be able to 'stalk' him for an autograph and an once-in-a-life-time photo with him. There is a good chance that the plants are in plastic.
