The weirdest way (but cheap) to turn...

For such a long time, I was desperatly searching for a way to "turn" pages from my tabs files (in pdf, or series of images) without having to stop playing. I haven't enought memory left to learn whole pieces, so I'm tab-addicted.
And as I've been afraid by the price of existings tools, I've brainstormed hard with myself to find a workaround (if you have no time to loose, stop reading, it's so stupid I'm ashamed) :

Step 1 : There are some mobile phones which are able to communicate with your computer (bluetooth). If you have one, then go to step 2 (really sorry for the others...)

Step 2 : There are some softwares extending the mobile phone control abilities over the computer. For mac, there is "Romeo" (free) and for PC "Salling clicker". I'm using Romeo, one must check if it works the same with salling clicker. (Is someone already guess where I'm going ?)

Step 3 : Launch the software, enable bluetooth com between the phone and the computer, launch your software for tab viewing (acrobat reader, GP, etc).

Step 4 : (Here is the weird thing) Remove one shoe and sock (I assume you can keep you pj's on)
Put your phone on the floor.
Focus with your toe on the appropriate key on the phone, which will give a "right arrow" order to the computer.

Step 5 : You're done. Enjoy this cheap and cool looking workaround (for room mates or girlfriend/wife).
Now you're able to play as Tomatito, whithout breaking the flow. It's just a question of toe-training

I had this idea (is it the good word?) because i'm using my phone to control powerpoint-like shows at work.
I must say that at the begining I was missing the right key on the phone one time out of two. But now, I can say i'm mastering to the toe page change. And it changed my flamenco-life.

If anyone wants to throw pictures of rotten tomatoes at me, you can. It won't remove the fact that I'm very happy with my workaround (so bad I haven't my camera to show pics).

Oh yes, some phones are too small for that ! The sony T610 works fine with my toe. but I'm not sure the phone will last long with this technique...

i've been having the same problem and am thinking about a solution myself - there are usb numeric pads available and i think that could be a solution, i'm just not sure how to set it up once bought, besides my normal keyboard (another solution is using a wireless keyboard and putting it onto the floor, the toe does the rest :))

I have a multi-function Canon MP500 which can saveguard scanned images into pdf. There are now other newer models which should do the same task.

This sounds as a less dumb solution than mine... But you must worry first about the "double recognition" of the keyboards by windows. I've never heard of this and suppose there'll be conflicts between the two keyboard (even if you manage to plug them both, on the normal keyboard port and the USB).

Frhout : You can scan down the images to pdf, but after how do the Canon help turning pages without stopping playing ?
Thanks

i'm pretty sure it works since where i work every day this has already been solved, i just haven't yet bothered to ask how and also i have no idea where to find one of these things, the last computer shop didn't have one...

(images.google.com -> type usb numeric keyboard, there are many of them, even wireless...- i just wonder if you can set one of the keys to recognize page down? - for gp and tef files)
