Hey, i've only been here for a few days, you can't leave now. you're a central character here, and i enjoy your posts. .. no one wants a stiff forum, so c'mon, get a hold of yourself, don't worry.. have some hot chocolate. NOW!.. .. and stay.
And no one wants to silence a person as engaged in flamenco as Zata, not on a flamenco forum, that would just be silly. It's difficult to get that across when things heat up in a discussion.. not everybody can get along, certainly not at all times, once that's acknowledged, people need to realize that no one's out to get anyone! (at least.. i hope so..) If everyone agrees, there will be no discussion, and everyone ends up loosing out. .. and heck, people often come to appreciate eachother along the way despite opposing views on some thing or another.
Excuse me for coming out of the blue, preaching like some flowery fool. Sonikete might have a point there, about people aiming to work with music needing to get some tougher skin.. to handle the backtalk and slander, cold audiences etc. Doesn't mean we need to turn into robots though.

Florian, I'm not sure what happened between you and the Rain man. But he seems to be intolerant of other people's views. You remember the thread I started about that clergyman in Australlia. He totally freaked out and started calling me names, which does not bother me at all. I even sent him a PM explaining my views, to which he did not respond. But that's just the way some people are and you have to deal with it.
Even though I enjoy seeing you around, I'm not telling you to stay or to go. I just want to point out that: A) your leaving is quite contrary to your signature motto, B) this leaving business is becoming very childish, and C) Merry Christmas and happy new year to everyone!!!

When I posted that thread, Ron nicely pointed out that this forum was not the place for it (even the off topic section) and I saw he was right! I apologized to the admin and fellow forum members and asked that the thread be deleted. Therefore, I don't want to revisit the subject, even though I still do not believe my post was ignorant or racist in any way. Not knowing a person, I'm not sure how you can brand him ignorant or racist by reading one of his opinions, but that's clearly what Rain did. This is how I know he is intolerant of other people's views! Even an ignorant racist needs to be heard and corrected, if necessary, in a humane way!
I simply stated my opinion on a very touchy subject. I do not apologize for my views unless someone nicely points out that they are wrong using a sound argument. Clearly, Rain is not that person! And, I never started an argument over it. I tried to clarify my position by sending him a nice PM and he just ignored it. That's the story!

Not true what so ever. I never recieved a PM from you Ramin, nor have I ever attacked you in anyway, so why in the last few days have you been attacking me. Why don't you dare to even mention that so called "Very touchy subject" Don't be a coward. You are racist! and yes I have no tolerance for people like you.
Hehe, now you've really got me curious about the Australian Clergyman thing! But fair enough, Ramin. I respect your views (even if they are not necessarily correct) and have come (from personal experience) to see that you seem like a good person.
Lets hope the forum survives these minor difficulties and goes on to become a better place.
