I don't get it? Ondajerez does not publish it's program schedule in the Diario de Cadiz or the Diaro de Jerez or any other newspaper. They do not have a Teletext service and they have stopped updating the schedule on their site. How does anybody there know what's on? Is it just a case of switching on and checking what's on at the moment? Why do they keep their program schedule secret? Would be grateful if you could find out, as I used to like their weekly Flamenco programs.
Ron, Since it's a small local station it's program schedule is not listed in the major newspapers. However, last week the program 'A Compas" was on at 22:45 on Tuesday and I believe that that is the regular time now. Phil
Thanks Phil, It does seem a bit odd though that they don't publish their schedule. Although, from what I hear, Dimitri has had an Internet Radio station up an running for the last few months. I believe it caters for the "lesser known" Flamenco artists. However he won't say what it's called and refuses to disclose the URL. Also he has taken steps to ensure that it is not searchable by any Search Engine. Fair enough, I suppose, since it's financed by himself. Maybe this is the new way of doing things and I'm just getting old. LOL! I wonder if his audience is only by "personal invitation"? I don't know.
I'd like to get hold of the people at ondajerez as well but they dont answer e-mail, or at least they didn't answer mine, or Estelas when we asked them about a Taller de Compás performance that they broadcast. For starters I have no idea where they got the footage from. And secondly they credited the show to some youngsters from Jerez. They are either sharks or amateurs. Anyojne know how they are funded or anything about them, like where they live ?
Sorry I can not help. It is really unprofessional that they don´t have the program schedule in their website. The thing is that the program schedule may be changed due to live broadcasting of events like La Feria, Festival de Otoño, Semana Santa or like now Villancicos in Navidad.
Kate I must say that they are still very amateurs. I can not stop laughing at the tv presenters. They are soooo bad. That is maybe what keeps me watching it. The ondajerez center is next to Teatro Villamarta in case you want to have a word with them.
Un saludo
Melchor

hey lets all pay them a visit when we're in Jerez. Thanks for letting me know that.
I'm quite happy for them to show footage of the Taller, I'll even take them footage of our US tour, but they have to get the name right. I'd alos love to know wher they got hold of the footage they have already broadcast, and who filmed it and what concert.
