Apparently Jeronimo is releasing a new album sometime in 2007. Its a joint venture with his brother. However, its gonna be a mix of Flamenco and Gypsy Jazz (a la Django Reinhardt), so it probably won't appeal to everyone. I'll be checking it out though, as I like both genres.

Thats a joke, I know, but I'm waiting for the day when someone comes up with an album of Flamenco played on the banjo... I can just see the critics' faces...

Id like to see a live solo album with him, just guitar and caja or palmas. He is so good that i think a studio production is almost damaging, taking the edge out of his playing.

Speaking of banjos, I've played Flamenco on a Ganjo (guitar neck, banjo body). It sounded killer!! Loud and percussive like you want, N
