AH HA!!! I knew it, you think this n. de Pura scale is GOOD music don't you!!!
I am note voting or betting, but I don't think he can do it. The phrase is so not suited for that type of speed. Please some one put the notes into midi, and run the mp3 at 196 bmp so we can hear what it should sound like. I think it will sound ridiculous personally.
The run in Zyrab Paco does is that speed, and it makes a lot more musical sense. I am sure Grisha can do that one, but this thing? I would like to hear him play the ending of Nino Curro as fast as he can.

Yeah, i agree with Ricardo.
I was thinking about this run Florian is enamered with, and im starting to see that maybe its the "Length" of the run that impresses him.
Because it really is a very meandering directionless scale run.
My take on it is, it really doesnt matter what the run is.
Everybody does slightly different scale patterns in their runs, depending on their individual strengths. But all in all, at least for me, a scale run is a scale run is a scale run.
Im certain Grisha can hit well over 210bpm 16ths on runs that he's very familiar with. So wether or not he chooses to play the long nino run at 196, really doesnt mean anything. (at least it doesnt mean anything to me)
I mean, if Grisha did upload the long run, i wouldnt even be able to tell if its exactly the same. There's no memorable motiff to it whatsoever. I'd have to slow it down, and check it against the tab. What the heck is the point of that?

When I first heard the run, I had no idea why Florian liked it. But, hey, everyone is allowed to like different things. When I first heard Nino de Pura, I thought he was totally cheesy and very "flamenco-lite". But the more I heard, the more I liked it. I find it quite pleasant actually, kind of a nice compromise between agujetas and ottmar.

my feelings exactly, the pull-offs and all the litlle things that when playd at that speed will become big things will have to be timed to perfection. and even then ...

Well, I voted, and of course I voted YES!!!!!!!!!! Grisha you can do it-I have no doubt-I listened to the original and the speeded up one-the original actually sounds better, and I have to say, good music or not, if someone played that picado in front of me at the original speed, my old jaded butt would sit up, take notice and acknowledge the incredible skill it takes to play that. Grisha has already played PdL stuff that I thought was impossible-WHOLE pieces. This one little picado is in the bag. Flo, you are toast. I can't wait to see the punishment!!
