Ines and that whole pinini clan (except fernanda) sing out of tune. Not easy to accompany. Also the guys from Jerez have robotic groove so, they are not going to give that up and become "elastic" because some singer is from a different town. Likewise, a jerez singer needs that groove. Part of the reason my tastes gravitate to jerez artists is for this reason. And Paquera sounded like these country singers now adays with digital pitch correction in terms of tuning. She is perfectly tuned always, even when the 2 guitars are not!

Hey not to offend any lovers of that Pinini style of singing. Lots of folks like that style, I guess what they do is legit if consider that they sing slightly off on purpose. (and don't say microtones because that is not what they are doing).

Ok flame away.

Juan Tharthuela? Yeah I know him. Not my favorite either. But I like the rhythm and expression anyway, just about anyone from jerez doing bulerias or solea por bulerias. He used to sing this dumb thing in the juergas, in major down the scale on the beat, then back up. "juajita jua, jua, jua, juah-----juajita juah---" What is that? Anyway, everyone was into his humour. And he plays guitar not bad either.
