How useful do you find this forum? What is your main purpose for using it. I am doing research for a class and would really appreciate help answering this question.
-to learn more guitar playing techniques, and improve the ones I already know. -to learn more about Flamenco (both the music AND the culture). -to hear what fellow members are listening to and playing themselves. -to share information with other memebers, for example tablature and resources. -to learn more about making/building guitars (my particular hobby ATM) -lastly, it also allows members to talk to other like-minded people who they may not meet during the course of their everyday lives.
Just a few of the main reasons why I, personally, use this forum (Apart from the fact that the other members are so helpful and friendly).

¡Si esto no está en compas, esto no es el Flamenco!
Yup, this forum is fairly narrow content-wise, which is why the little spats show up. You can only discuss JM and his utter uberness and how to count so many times I supose (I'm not bored yet).
But as for this narrow field of content, I haven't found any place that can provide the information and fellowship that this place does.
This is really the same question as your Foro Flamenco thread. As I gave a smart alec response there (though I didn't know you were doing a project at the time!), so I will give a straight answer here-
I hang out here in order to network with and learn from more experienced players, that and all the stuff JBASH said.
