I got it down already. There's nothing to it. He uses some sneaky tricks btw. Which make the switch from strumming to picado ( and vice versa) a lot easier.
The tempo needs work of course. I guess he's playing that rumba for ages already so it's impossible to do it the same in one day.

Btw. Did you hear him speak on that buleria mp3. He excuses for being on tour, been in the airplane for 5 hoours bla, bla.
So I suggest we start our upload with some excuses too. Like, well after the concert I met this beautiful woman, but she hit me on both the eyes and now I have to play this rumba blind.

First to upload their own version of 'la feria' wins. How about you tckulzek, you should do a version too. Even better Flo, do the original for tckulzek then do a version with your own flavour and make it yours. (try make it sound more modern, maybe put some jazzy picado runs in it)

Sure.. I understand you can dislike it :) Transcribe something which you like. I like his Rondena. Choose everything you want (the rondena is good - its name is Aurora).. just let it have a good flamenco hard feeling. It'll be nice to hear it. For me, whatever is Juan's technique and all other stuff, he is an expert in playing very emotionally and has good hard flamenco tone. He can tell the story, that's what I like. Tell me the good flamenco story and you can come to Poland and tell some stories to others ;) Dominic could also come, and tell some monkey stories.. We can build a monkey statue. Dominic, have you seen karate monkey video?

Have you decided which one your going to work out? lol
Actually i think it would be cool if somehow we all decided on a falseta, not JM, and not necessarily too technically difficult (then more people can enter), and who ever wants to, can work it out and add their own flavour to it, record it and upload it. Then put up a poll (i wanna do the poll, me, mee) and everybody can vote whos version they liked the most. what do u think?
